The idea began with three Irish friends and a simple thought: Gibraltar should have a Gaelic football club of its own.
A small first training session grew through word of mouth into a club of locals, Irish residents and people from many other backgrounds. More than a decade later, Gibraltar Gaels still carries that founding attitude—show up, bring your energy and help the club grow.

Gibraltar Gaels lifted the regional men’s title in 2014 and again in 2018—a remarkable record for one of Iberia’s smallest Gaelic football communities.
